Mosquito Prevention Social Media Infographics

Each summer, DeKalb County Board of Health creates a social media campaign around mosquito prevention. Mosquitoes in this county have a high probability of carrying and transmitting the West Nile Virus. For this project, social media infographics were created for continuous use during mosquito season. The messaging around mosquito prevention, given to us by our Environmental Health Department, was broken down into 4 simple infographics for sharing. Created in 2015, the county’s health department and county government continue to use these graphics each summer to encourage residents to do their part in preventing the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses.
